i need some help with building a model hot air ballon. i just need the design my teacher would provide the hot air source. but i need an idea about a design i can use...something other than the dry cleaner bag. if you have design or ideas please share them with me.

Most plastic trash bags too heavy, use dry cleaner bag, balsa sticks to hold it open string to little platform holding votive candle (or small container of canned heat if you want an altitude record and visit from FAA)

paper is a good material.

can also try plastic - test it about a foot over a candle to see if it will melt, then glue the ends to some kind of a rim.
