I'm looking to go on a ski trip this summer (your winter) and would like to know what ski resorts have the nicest snow, runs and ski in / ski out facilities.

Thank you.

Well, Australia is a lot more expensive, and NZ has much better ski-ing.

Their scenery is better, they have higher mountains, more snow and generally better resorts. Try around the Queenstown area in the south island. That's the adventure capital of NZ and boasts some great ski-ing, plus anything else you could ever think of to do with snow (and things you couldn't.)

In the north island, you can ski on Mt Ruapehu (I think that's right) which is a volcano. So if you like living dangerously, that's a great place to go ski-ing. :)

Check out the Lonely Planet book on New Zealand, I used it the last time I went over there.

New Zealand has higher mountains, more snow and more resorts. The snow is more reliable there too. Australia has great cross country skiing.

both the countries are developed so as that is a plus aspect. U'll get to work out Kiwis & Kangaroos. NZ is very picturesque. Australia's well known for the Downs & the finished Barrier Reef. the recent 3 hundred and sixty 5 days party at Sydney Harbour is a cope with to exhibit screen. i imagine that is a pity that they ought to have a good time Christmas in summer season & it's going to no way be a white Christmas. So settle on for this reason. lol

Definately NZ. Either central North Island, or (bettter) head for Queenstown in the South Island.
