I was reading some posts in a forum in which I came across a particular post in which a man admitted he has sexual fantasies of children. I know technically he didn't break a law, but is there a way i can report it to any authority, or is there a organization that tracks potential sexual predators.

I would contact the state police. Most (if not all) states have some sort of task force to set up. The authorities will probably contact the website and get particulars of the individual (the ip address) and start to monitor the activity.

If the person is writing about the fantasies, chances are he (or she) has either acting them out or is considering it. It is your duty to report such activity.

Good luck

Nothing, A Fantasy is just that "a thought", its when we decide to 'act' upon those thoughts that we ALL need to be deeply concerned about. Could also be someone just trying to "pull your chain" in a sick sort of way. Remember, the key word is "potential"

Call you local FBI and give them the site and name of the forum. They can track it and even get his ip address. I would also notify the website. If you have noticed, this site has a way to report abuse and most sites do. Protect our children. If we don't no one will.

You could send his user name (nickname) to Yahoo and let them know.
