Use shampoo for oily hair, you could also use 1/2 teaspoon aloe vera gel (out of Aloe Vera plant) or store bought and 1 tablespoon lemon juice then you blend the ingredients together with 1/4 cup of your shampoo for oily hair, massage your scalp gently while shampooing and leave it in your hair for at least 3-5 minutes then wash and rinse with warm water; avoid conditioner, a healthy diet could also help, a friend of mine uses a little bit of powder and puts it on her hair so it can absorb the oil (just a little bit of talc) and you might also want to talk to your hair stylist for more tips. Hope this helps

There are a few things you can do to try and keep the oil at bay, for a start make sure you rinse every last bit of shampoo out of your hair or residue could build up and cause oiliness. Don’t ever condition you scalp, in fact just use it on the very ends and otherwise forget about it for now. Stay away from shampoos that say nourishing or moisturising, these are only for dry, dehydrated hair. You may like to try The Body Shop Nettle Oil Balance Shampoo, $21, it’s a refreshing oil-free shampoo that helps to reduce excess oils without stripping the hair.

If you feel oily throughout the day the perfect solution is Batiste Dry Shampoo. Just shake the can and spray it through your hair (it’s white and powdery). Then wait a minute or two and brush it through. It’s a pretty amazing product as it actually absorbs hair and leaves hair looking clean while giving volume. It’s small enough for you to keep in your bag.

I used to have the same problem in high school.. If your still in high school.. it's probably just puberty and remember you'll grow out of it. First make sure your drinking lots of water.. it's healthy for you hair. Second.. make sure when you put conditioner in your hair to put in the lower half of your hair.. not at the roots. Try using baby shampoo.. it's strip you hair of unpurities.. so it might help. Also shampoo with eucalyptus tea tree oil. helps ( you can buy it at a place like sally beauty supply) You can also try washing your hair with a little of baking soda, it might help. But for the most part.. try getting shampoo for oily hair.. try and stay away from pantene pro v and herbal essences.. they can cause build up in your hair and cause it to be more oily.( this can happen because of the process of bottling the shampoo)

You SHOULD wash your hair about the same time everyday.
Try using a shampoo formulated for oily hair.
Only use conditioner on the ends.

Sometimes washing your hair daily could rid your scalp of essential, natural oils. Which is probably causing your hair's increased production of these oils.

To control such problems try using a mild shampoo that isn't so harsh on your scalp. For instance, baby shampoo is extra mild and allows you to use it daily without ridding your hair of its necessary oils.

Also, if you plan on using conditioner make sure to only apply it to your ends, rather than the roots themselves.

When your hair looks oily, put some baay powder on it and make sure to comb it through. The baby powder absorbs the oil.
