My Mom's a Multiple Personality. I have a broken back in 3 places. I'm asking/sharing this so we can lay aside differences & see each other as people, with lives & real issues besides our differences.

I'm a single mom who suffers constant pain and disability due to rheumatoid arthritis, palindromic rheumatism, and fibromyalgia. I've also been the victim of violence, witnessed violent crimes, lived in the streets and grew up in a fundamental Christian family where beatings were common for questioning the church and it's teachings. I tend to be a loner, preferring to keep people at a distance. I enjoy the computer because I can visit others in an environment that feels safe to me.

that is what it should all boil down to sawyer isnt it
we are people beneath it all with our own problems
i have a lot of baggage but i dont carry it sweetie ... i have it stored away , but it is still there
i live with my husband who is diabetic and has severe depression
i care for my mother who has just had a stroke after loosing my dad last year
i have 3 children to 3 men
and some not so great relationships that have left many scars
there is so much more
my problems are not as bad as some but worse than others
but what matters is how we cope with our baggage and how we let it affect us personally and in relation to others

I have a messed up jaw. My mom has diabetes and my dad has cancer. But I don't carry any baggage, thats just life get use to it.

I was born white and a lot of people in the world these days seem to resent that, and that's an awful lot of baggage to handle
