No. He would be using the mind that the good Lord gave him. The Episcopal church says "Jesus came to take your sins, not you mind". Hopefully your neighbor will come into a more mature and deeper and truer faith after he thinks about it rationally.

Yes I think so.Satan is working over time right now twisting peoples minds into thinking that there is no God. Satan is convincing people that only stupid people believe in God. Oh! My yes Satan is having a field day! Nothing and no one can rob me of my faith! I know that God does indeed answer prayer! Believing in God has brought me peace! This world is growing so wicked! Without faith in God I just don't know what would happen!I know that God loves me! I know that God loves you.

It's still sounds like an emotional issue to me. Faith and reason are complimentary. Maybe you missed the news about the Pope and his speech about faith and reason.

Actually using reason and logic only lead to God. He created order, reason, and logic. It cann only lead (when properly appied) back to God.
