How long should I wait to get my cholesterol checked after eating a high fat meal?

it takes 2 hours for full digestion take place. However for pizza..wait 3 hours at least.

You are supposed to fast before a cholesterol test. So if your meal was at night you could take the test the next morning before you eat any breakfast.

Fasting is recommended before having your cholesterol checked. I'm not sure but, I believe your Doc. will ask you to fast for at least 8 hrs.
