You see,my name is Shahla and I want to know if anybody has heard of the name Shahla.If it is tell me what religon it's from.Please answer soon

I've never heard the name. This sounded like fun, so I looked at some genealogy web sites.

I looked in a database that records births in Minnesota from 1935-2002. There were four girls given the name Shahla during that time. Two were in the 1960s and two were in the 1990s. At least three of them had a parent with a name that sound Middle Eastern.

There were 15 girls with the named Shahla in Texas (1903-1997) (nine with first name, six with middle name). 14 of the 15 had parents with Middle Eastern (e.g., Mohhamed, Syed, etc) names.

In California (1905-1995), there were 41 girls with Shahla listed either as a first or middle name.

I've read about Shahla Laheji, an Iranian person.
Probably Muslim.

I have heard it alot here I just assumed it was a new American name

Ive seen people with that name in my culture.

but its not too common here either.
