Just relax. A doctor can do prescribe some medicines to relieve your anxiety, but if you are afraid of your anxiety every time it gets worse and worse. Accept your anxiety first, and try to think it's ok with your anxiety.

I agree, it is probably General Anxiety Disorder with low self esteem. Lots of people have this.
Go to your regular doctor if you have one or find another doctor.
You may just need to be on a medication for this for awhile until you start feeling better.
Also, it could be Post Traumatic Stress if you have had something stressful in your life in the past few years.
But get some medical help.
You should not have to feel like this.
Good luck to you.

it sounds like an anxiety disorder and depression. i had (sort of still have) an anxiety disorder where i couldn't be in situations i didn't chose to be in or had no choice of when to leave (like jobs etc.). i also keep people away by not being social or using humour to avoid getting personal. my anxiety was alleviated by going to a counsellor. it's not like it solves it but having somone to rant to or try and explain the most complex of emotions to without having to re-explain background story everytime was a relief - esp. because i doesn't have to be a continuous relationship. you have the control. i would talk to someone now before your situation develops even more

I agree with Veronica, generalized anxiety disorder. It is very common and probably inherited. An antidepressant will make a world of difference. Does your mind race? That is a common symptom of GAD. The antidepressant will stop your mind from racing and allow you to relax.

you need self-development, success, a discipline.
try aikido, karate, judo, tai chi, or something like that.
you must change yourself. get a discipline to gain confidence.
