Hey, my sister says I should dye my hair like this dude:

I mean, so it's lighter but only on the top or something like that...
I'm white and my natural hair color is light brown/dark blonde.
I don't know if I should dye it because some people say it's a very redneck thing to do, or that only gay guys do it... I'd do it because I think I would look good...
Should I do it?

Hey, it's your hair. Do what you like with it! As for it being a redneck thing, that's the first I heard of that! Someone is pulling your leg. I should know: I've lived in places that had a lot of rednecks.

I don't think anyone should dye their hair, let alone a man. Once you do it you have to keep it up and that can really be expensive. A man with dyed hair doesn't look natural.

That dude is on tv and can "get away with it" I think that guys who color their hair are gay.But that is only because around here that's the norm for gay guys..So I guess it would depend on your area...Are you man enough not to care if others think you are gay? Hmmm that's a good question..but don't get mad if you get hit on....

"Some people" are not worth listening to. Do it if you want to. The comment that only gay guys do it is ridiculous. If you're afraid you won't like it, then have it done temporarily and that way if you like it you can have it redone to be permanent or it will be a short-term dislike.
