have you ever felt like the only right thing to do is to let your loved one go because if you stayed you'd be under stress and there would be a chance that you would no longer love them anymore. right now i feel like that is the only thing to do, but is it selfish to still want to marry him (by the way we're still in high school)

thanks you guys however we decided to take a break on sunday and now i have less expectations for him and i know that the love is still there and i am no longer annoined when we talk because i don't feel as if he is simply going to make me disapointed by not meeting my expectations and we may both go in the opposite directions and still keep a connection.

Let him go, if it's meant to be he'll come back. You'll be amazed how much you both will grow. This could be the best thing for both of you. Good luck sweetie!

Girl please, you say you're still in High School?Me too. Listen I don't know you very well but, let him go and just b friends. U have all of ur life to live, trust and believe u'll find someone else to marry. Don't stay somewhere where ur not happy, cuz just as you said u 2 will end up not liking each other and there won't b room 4 at least a friendship.Sum1 once told me "ur 2 young to be serious with n e 1, now is the time to have fun and experiment." If you and him were meant to b 2gether 4 the rest of your life trust you'll meet again.

That's normal (and very mature on your part, I might add). A lot of the people posting questions on this site don't have the sense to figure that out, or they're just in denial. Now on that "marryin" part: relax on that. You are still young. Live life before you marry someone and be pissed off later that you did it so young.
P.S. Listen to "Butterfly" by Mariah Carey.

no, because if you truely love him/her i believe u would do anything for him/her, take a bullet, drive 1000 miles to c them, do what ever it took to be with him/her. Your still young, in high school and thinking bout marriage, im not saying i myself even really no what love is, but i think your a little young to really know.

It's the hardest thing to do, but you have to go ahead and do what your heart tells you. If you aren't going to be happy with him/her later on in life, no use in trying to continue the relationship.
