Don't do anything. Live your life, and don't see yourself as ugly, and when you are young, your body is still working itself out.......as time goes by, you will get hotter!...then well there is a limit....but aging gracefully is nice too.... Choose someone who likes you for who you are (and you like them back too!) If you are not attracted to someone, don't feel sorry for them. It isn't your fault. People are attracted to different kinds of people. Just because a hot guy you like, has a thing for other girls, don't think there isn't someone out there that you are really attracted to that thinks you are very attractive! Anyway, if you are at school....why date in school when you can expand outwards and go with your friends or even by yourself to other places and meet other people. Meet someone out of the circle........it is far more interesting :P

What do you mean "prettier girls"? Do you like yourself? Be yourself, love you, and the rest will pan out. A good guy will be attracted to that.

Just be yourself. When girls calm down and try not to impress people, that is when they stand out the most.
If the boy truely only likes really pretty girls, then he is pretty shallow and will not be able to appreciate everything that is so great about you.

I have the same problem, and I've been looking for that answer for years. What i do is just get to know a guy and then start flirting with him. No guy has loved me at first sight. But once i get to know him, i have a better chance.
