Well it depends on the laws in the state that you live in.
In some states such as Oregon, and California, if you qualify, you can get a medical marijuana card. Which cost about $150, but the benefit is that you can smoke marijuana legally, and you can have up to 3 mature plants at a time legally, and you can have up to a 1/4 ounce, on your person for personal use at a time. The disadvantage, is that you can not legally operate a motor vehicle while under the influence, and if tested it stays in your system for up to thirty days.

It depends on what your State Law is. I have never heard of anyone getting the ok for chronic fatigue syndrome to smoke marijuana.

First, never be mislead by the notion of "medical marijuana". While synthetic, liquid THC is available for a limited number of medical conditions, it is never legal to smoke marijuana for any reason. I know people will tell you that it is and we all "know someone who knows someone" who got a prescription. I live in California where the voters have even voted to legalize it. Passed by a majority, but guess what? It's still illegal. Little thing called a FEDERAL law. State laws can never override a federal law. While I think most law enforcement agencies have decided they have bigger work than to hassle someone who has a small amount of marijuana on them, under the letter of the law, it is illegal and will be so until the FEDERAL government changes the classification of marijuana.

If your state has medical marijuana, you have to go through the approval process. Believe me......they don't give it to everyone. You have to have serious problems. You aren't going to get it.
