Kodak is a joke in digital photography. It makes lousy cameras, the camera itself does not even choose the right settings more than 20%-30% of the time. Thats a lot if you are like me who take at least 200 pictures at an outing of somesort. Thats over 60 pictures that are lost or are really bad quality, chances are that they were a shot of a life time too.

You want quality go with Canon. High quality, thank you Japanese for making everything high quality.

In general Kodak has not made high quality cameras in the last 30 years or more. Stay with quality, buy the Canon. Kodak may make a decent camera NOW but were never considered a high quality brand over many years.

I believe easyshare is much better and easier to use, but if you have multiple cameras sharing the same computer, and one of them isn't easyshare, than it is hard to use both programs together and I'd go with the other camera. The overall cameras don't have much difference in quality.

Canon 8mp...The reviews are better on Consumer Reports as well...

i've never seen kodak's picture quality...but i've seen canon's. and you might wanna check out some Nikons as Canon is so far left behind by Nikons...this is from what i've compared...
