clear up my acne, its not big blemishes but its little ones beneth the surface and they're small and you can't really see them but when make up is on it makes it look uneven. i need a HOMEMADE remedy, no expensive products. i also have scars and discoloration on my face, to the point where i wont go out without make up which is probably making it even worse. i have been leaving my make up off for as long as i can, washing my face 2x a day (morning and night) i have oily skin and need a way to clear up the scars

Go to a health store, get green clay and a bottle of tea tree oil, mix the clay with some water add a few drops of the tea tree oil, This makes a mud paste, put it all over and let it dry. As the mud hardens it will detox the skin. Just wash it off. Do it about 2-3 times a week. Natural essential tea tree oil is great for acne.

First of all, the regimen that worked best for me is the Clear Skin Regimen. The regimen can be found on www.acne.org, it describes the regimen and recommends good, inexpensive drugstore products to use. You can also buy the products made for the regimen at acnesupplies.com. they aren't very expensive for how big they come, and it's completely worth it.

If you really need strictly homemade products, Apple Cider Vineger worked best for me. you can either buy the organic kind, Braggs, at health food stores, or just the regular distilled kind at grocery stores. It's extremely inexpensive.

What you do, is you take a small container to store it in. you start off with maybe 1 part Apple Cider Vineger (ACV), and 9 parts water (ie. 1 capful of ACV and 9 capfuls of water mixed in the container). After washing your face, take a cotton ball or pad and use the ACV like an astringment, rubbing it all over your face. Let it dry, then moisturize. After about a week, make a new formula with 2 parts ACV and 9 parts water, and then next 3 parts ACV and 9 parts water. Do this gradually until you have an equal mixture of ACV and water.

When you have an equal amount of water and ACV, it's perfectly Ph balanced for the skin. The reason you do it so gradually is because ACV can cause slight burnling and irritatation of your skin if your skin isn't used to it. If you have sensitive skin, you may want to start out with an even more amount of water to ACV (ie. 1 part ACV, 15 parts water).

This helped clear up me acne, and it's also been known to help with uneven skin tone, acne scars, and discolorations.

Luckily there are lots of products designed especially for your problem. You have probably heard about these whitening ranges on the market, they are actually for dealing with uneven skin tones resulting from things such as pigmentation, not for whitening the skin Michael Jackson style! The Body Shop has a range called Moisture White and Shiseido has the UV White line-up. So you should look out for anything that claims to ‘whiten’, you can even get masks and other treatment items along with the regular cleansers and moisturisers. Also it’s absolutely essential that you wear an SPF of at least 30 everyday, winter or summer, as the sun will cause more pigmentation.

I’d recommend using Trilogy Rose Hip Oil, $19.95. It’s very good for scarring and although you may think it feels oily, don’t worry, it’s a very fine oil and is not likely to cause breakouts. I use this on my oil prone skin with no problems. The key to reducing the look of the scars is unfortunately patience, it will take time so don’t give up after two weeks if you can’t see an improvement yet. You are doing all of the right things and Living Nature is an excellent brand for you. Zinc is very good for healing scars so keep up with the recommended dose.

• It is true that greasy, foods, chocolate and general junk food isn't the cause of Acne, but with out a doubt affects the level of toxins and general healthy functioning of the body that shows through on the skin. A HEALTHY DAILY DIET THAT CONSISTS OF FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES : these are cleansing foods that will help purify the system and provide your body with the necessary vitamins and minerals that aid in the correct functioning of the organs; especially the skin. Avoid high sugar content foods, saturated fatty foods, foods that contain lots of sulphur, additives and preservatives may aggravate the severity of the acne problem. Food supplements like acuzine are also known to be beneficial for the skin as well as; all anti-oxidants, Vitamin E and C, hydrolyzed collagen, Aloe Vera etc which help to strengthen the skin.

• PROTECT THE SKIN FROM THE SUNS HARMFUL UV RAYS. It is vitally important to use an oil free high sun protection factor that acts as a strong safe guarding barrier. Sunlight can cause serious damage to the skins surface as well as aggravate acne as well as dehydrate the skin causing further complications such as skin cancer and premature aging. Sun damaged skin is more likely to experience an acne breakout. The sun actually does cause acne breakouts so apply sun screen regularly and use a hat too. Avoids the sun during the peak hours, usually between 10 am and 4 pm.

• STOP STRESSING OUT. Research has proven that stress can actually cause cystic acne and worsen the acne breakouts for those who already suffer from this unwanted skin condition. Acne is a stressful condition to have to deal with in the first place but it is vital that stress be avoided and handled so that the skin is able to heal undisturbed and the body is relaxed. Find an exercise or relaxation technique that suits your lifestyle and use that time to completely eliminate stress for at least 10 to 30 minutes a day.

• WATER, WATER AND MORE WATER: drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of purified water on a daily basis, as water is one of the best cleansing liquids and aids in the detoxifying process. Water acts as a catalyst to move acids out of the body. Water is known as being the single most important contributor to healing and preventing acne flare-ups.

the drinking alot of water and not having alot of sugar tip REALLY help because my fiance has it bad and when he drinks alot of soda it gets really bad and when he just drinks water it clears up.

Exfoliate!! You can get something under ten dollars at walmart for oily skin. It may sound weird but the rougher the soap (the more particles in it) the better it will work. Also try to relieve stress in your life, try taking brith control too. Plan Parenthood will tell you a brith control that decreases acne and they go by income so its cheap.

Many people may disagree with me but it starts in how you eat. Eat low fat, lots of fresh veggies, fruit, whole grain breads, lean meats and lotssssss of water.

Sleep at least 8 hours a night. Get fresh air daily. Exercise regularly. Plus.....three or four times a day, wash face well. Start by steaming face with a hot facecloth (not rubbed) on skin , all over ...to open the pores. Then lather up a low perfumed soap with hands all over your face. Spash the soap off well with clean, warm water then with cold, cold water facecloth dab the whole face to close pores again. Pat dry your face with a clean towel. Keep your body , hair , bedding and clothes clean. Keep your hair off of your face and if you feel you have to wear makeup then wear medicated makeup only and wash it off thoroughly when you get home.
