My cat keeps shaking and won't stop.He is a five-year-old male. Whenever I am holding him, he won't stop shaking. He isn't purring, though. I don't know what's wrong with him! It's mostly his left front leg. What's wrong with him? Is he okay?

He doesn't mind if I hold him. If he didn't want me to hold him, he'd squirm. I know if he doesn't want to be held.

HI
That could be a wide range of things I'd take him to the vet to know why for sure.

I think the best thing you can do is get him into a vet ASAP. Obviously you've gotten past the point where this forum can help and need to see a doctor for your cat. It's hard to say what this could be and a trained vet will be able to do the most good for you and your cat the quickest. Good luck, I hope your kitty is goingto be all right. -- Andy

Maybe he doesn't want you to hold him. Or if he shakes all the time not just when being held you should probably consider a vet trip.

you have an emergency situation...call a local vet...they have 24 hrs...services...look in the yellow pages...

my guess...is that your cat was poisioned...or hit by a car
