The "Tribulation" period you are referring to, has not yet started.
However, the countdown to the end of the "Age" has started.
The war we see now between east and west is a spiritual battle, a posturing of good and evil and the end of this posturing will be the return of Christ Jesus. I believe that the demonic spirits, bound at the great river euphrates, referred to in the book of Revelation, may have been unleashed on this world when we overthrew Saddam Hussein. The euphrates river runs right through Iraq. Since deposing Saddam, the world has witnessed a type of evil, never before witnessed. This evil stretches to the far corners of the earth and it continues to grow in strength.
I can only attribute this to strong demonic resistance to peace in the middle east. Satan has had his stronghold in this area of the world, since time began. Todays modern technology has allowed them to spread their campaign of hate throughout the world.
I believe if the USA backs down from this fight, Gods judgement upon us will be swift and complete. Those voting to bring our troops home and end the fighting do not realize they are causing the demise of the USA. If we are perceived as weak to our enemies, they will continue to attack us. This is the final battle, good verses evil, Ibelieve this battle will only end when Christ Jesus returns. I also believe prophecy is being fulfilled very quickly now as events are unfolding at a alarming rate.
Even though, I say: Come Lord Jesus.
God Bless You .....Peace.

I think its the birth pangs, but the tribulation hasn't actually started yet. There have always been wars and rumors of war, but now we're seeing violence without wars, earthquakes in diverse places, and the great falling away. It's getting close. I suggest you actually read the book of Revelation so you'll know its called the tribulation, and not call the time to come by the name of the book.

No other time in history had all the predictions, Israel had to become a nation again, which happened in 1948, and according to the bible it will start in that generation. A biblical generation is 70 years, which gives us until 2018 for it to start. Also, Israel has to have members from all 12 tribes present, and from what I understand, they're still missing one of them, though the've been bringing in different tribes from all over the world for the past 20 years.

What is occurring now is what Jesus predicted.

"You are going to hear of wars and rumors of wars. See to it that you are not alarmed. These things must take place, but the end hasn't come yet. For nation will rise up in arms against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are only the beginning of the birth pains." (Matthew 24:6-8)

What occurs in most of Revelation is still in the future. Revelation encompasses the church age onward. As we see here: "Therefore, write down what you have seen, what is, and what is going to happen after this." (Revelation 1:19) So, therefore, some of what is in Revelation is occurring right now, but most has not.

As you can see from some answers, they say that because it has taken so long, it really isn't going to happen. Naturally, this is fulfillment of prophecy as well: "First of all you must understand this: In the last days mockers will come and, following their own desires, will ridicule us by saying, "What happened to his promise to return? Ever since our ancestors died, everything continues as it did from the beginning of creation." (II Peter 3:2-4)

Why? Are all the wars, killings, and bad stuff something new? Those things have been going on since the beginning of time.

In fact, isn't it written in Genesis? Then God said, "Let there be wars, killings, and bad stuff." And it was so.

If not, it should be.

You mean the tribulation. And yes there are wars and killings...but that has been going on forever. But mankind may very well destroy this earth someday.

Angel, if you are tired of being on the "horrible site" with the "god haters" you do have the option to leave.

Yes. To Maya, everyone knows that wars have been going on almost since the beginning of time. But its the FREQUENCY at which these events occur that mark the beginning of sorrows. Its an analogy for child labor-the closer it gets to being over, the stronger and more frequent the contractions are.

I think so, but the major events that we are to look for have not happened yet. Like the appearance of the antichrist as supernatural being and the one world political system. We will know when tose things occur.

there will be a war soon that will kill one third of man kind. Then the world will be so devastated that they will welcome the anti christ and false prophet when they show up.It will seem like they are here to bring peace and order,so people will accept them.Only those who know the truth of Jesus return will not be decieved. This will be a bad time of tribulation. This will go on for 3 and a half years then Jesus will come for his people.

When you ask for Christians only, you will get mostly atheist rude, sarcastic answers.

But I think you mean "tribulation" not revelation. It has not started, but keep your eye on Israel and Iran, the war prediceted 3000 years ago. It will trigger it.

Not much time left, bless you

Humans have been starting wars and slaughtering each other for millenia. It's nothing new.

By the way, the event to which you refer is not called "the revelation." The fictional account of the event is simply contained in the book of Revelation.
