Try sherbert or jello, they are more fruity that ice-cream
heres some more:
soft drinks, icepops, and pudding. Other good things to eat are mashed potatoes, scrambled eggs, pasta, and warm soup.

Do you like sherbert? It is a lot better than ice cream. Popcicles, jello, yogurt, soups, creamed potatoes and carrots together, oatmeal thinned down, cream of wheat is nourishing and warm. Good luck.

Anything cold. This helps decrease the swelling and inflammation on your throat. Make sure its nothing too sour like yogurt(except frozen yougurt), as the acidity may cause your wound to bleed. Make sure that it doesnt contain nuts, or chocolate chips as this may irritate the wound.
Avoid also foods that are rough and dry, like peanuts, chips, and cookies.
