The Bible says homosexuality is an abomination.
The Bible also says eating shellfish is an abomination.
I had shrimp for dinner tonight. I think you can figure out where I stand on this issue.
As an FYI to some of the others on this thread, the Bible also says that slavery is okay, you can sell your children into slavery, God likes you to sacrifice animals to him and that if your neighbor works on the Sabbath, he or she should be killed. The whole "picking and choosing" thing really doesn't work. Remember the whole "abomination" thing next time you order some lobster or crab legs.

I most definetly dont oppose gay marriage. I think that two consenting adults (that are not related) should be able to marry. People often say well if you allow gays to marry then you might as well allow sisters and brothers to get married, people to marry animals and so on but that is TOTALLY different. As far as going against the bible goes there is no sin greater than another and people fail to remember that. People sin each and everyday from as small as "white lies" to as high as murder and there is no sin greater. A lot of these bible thumpers out here are not as christian as they think they are and actually preach hate for an example godhatesfags.com. How can you even say that? God loves all his children the same no matter what. This gay marriage thing is going to be as big as the civil rights movement and I think that one day we will all be treated equally. Marriage is a right not a privledge

Yes I do oppose gay marriage because of the Bible. Yes, atheism is against the Bible. Why not just believe in God? You're never going to make it to Heaven without it.
I do not oppose of atheist marriage but I do not believe it right to be an atheist in the first place.
AND it IS about the Word of God not just homophobia for most people.

in the times of jesus to the times of today...look at how much the world is changed.....
i was givin the best advice in the world
and that was " find happiness im a guy or even a girl"
now, im not gay but i would hate to have to see gay people suffer in this world because they cannot have pure happiness not just because of how others feel about them but because of religion?
i am not religious but i belive EVERYone should have the right to be if they want
this is where i come to my comlusion.
if you want to rob someone of their happiness do it.
im not saying you have to think its right, or that u need to be friends with them. but i think if people dont like gay people ignore them and get on with your lives.
in all honesty there no difference between you and gay people except in sexual orientation
AND FALLED IS NOT A WORD learn some proper english before you decide to pick on gay people because of your own homophobia

The religious sect of the world will never accept this even if the government does,at least not in any of our life's.Maybe our children's but doubtful.I mean the world has been fighting over simple religion since the beginning.Something this complex will never be accepted in the churches of today.Personally to each their own.Consenting and responsible adults should be able to love and be with whom ever they choose.Selling that to religion ,won't happen.

Gay marriage actually isn't against the original Bible (Tanakh) Xtianity just made it that way. The law in Leviticus states that it is not good for a man to lie with another man, i.e. gay sex. But if two men fall in love and either abstain from sex altogether or just from gay sex and want to get married, there is no problem.
I think it's about their homophobia rather than the Word of G-d, because as stated above, the Word of G-d does not prohibit gay marriage. G-d made gays too.

Yes.
No.
No (as long as they're not gay atheists).
We believe that marriage is natural between a man and woman, deviate in any other form; it doesn't matter if they are atheistic.
Yes, then no (I thought you were above name calling Jim)

i see your point....i was raised in church...in the bible its said that marrige is between a man and a women...i dont not perceive gays as evil or bad for bieng gay, just as i dont not perceive that people who are athiest are bad....people have diffrences in opinions, and beliefs...i belive what i believe, and gays and athiest belive and live as they feel is right....and theres nothing wrong with that...
so to answer your question no i dont oppose gay marriage...if your in love you should not be told you "cant" be in love...thats wrong
