Ask yourself if it is worth losing your temper?
Somebody cuts you in line at the store - not worth it
Somebody spits in your face - worth it
Secondly You know what your "buttons" are, What sets you off. And beleive it or not so do the people around you ("oh she really hates it when.......")
When you ALLOW others to push your buttons you have already lost control.
So the next time somebody pushes your buttons
take a moment (the same amount of time it would take to wipe the spit off of your face) and think
about what you are going to do next
is it worth losing your temper

Nobody likes to be made a fool of, but sometimes we make fools of ourselves

Save your lost temper for times when you really need to lose it

whats the counting to ten..?..ten what...?i will tell yo this first....years ago..i found out that without anger in my life...i could go 24/7 tireless and effortlessly.i got much done..and was very happy and healthy.....
so her'es the ten.....you have ten fingers...hold each for a few minutes in the palm of yr hand............do each..........this will balance yr inner world.help yr breathing..................at night....do another ten...thats the ten toes......i will say that you will find the big toe joints very tender...the ring toes too......no matter just hold them.....in a while you can find better circulation and harmony in your life........because this gets better circulations to your feet...........so..?...only you will know the results....tell no..one but appreciate it if you hear someone say.............gosh...you have a better attitude.yr so much easier to get along with..............................i learned this.........i never imagined how well it would work

Anger is a symptom for depression. I would highly suggest that you go see some counselor, they evaluate your emotional state and guide you through it. It may be some of your pent up emotion that is making you vulnerable to anger.
Good luck.

Try and take it easy for moment. Think about something that recently made you laugh. If you can't think of anything, try finding something that will make you laugh. Sometimes, all it takes it a little laughter to release the tension.

think of someone or something that u really hate the one most thing that u cant stand....and increase your anger more and more until u can increase it anymore..and let it all out on something like a boxing bag or on a mattress...release all your anger until u cant release it anymore,,after that calm down and take a deep breath and think of something that u really like or someone that u love

dont let people see your anger.
you can hate them all you want in your head.
just dont ball your fists, make faces, or grind your teeth.
i had the same problem.
but sometimes, holding all that anger in gets to you..
so everynow and then, dont be scared to show the "real" you..
but otherwise, just try to hold it in, and when your home scream and yell and write a letter and dont send it..?
