my girlfriend and I have been together for 5 months and i wanna do something really special, but im just not sure what to do. Anyone have any ideas?

If she's not the kind of girl that takes hours to get ready, then call her one day you know you both are free and tell her you're picking her up in an hour or so, tell her not to ask you where you're going, but to look nice. Meet her at the door with a dozen roses (in her favorite color) and open the car door for her (make sure you're car is clean)...drive her to a restaurant over looking the city or a lake or something and treat her to an awesome dinner...talk talk talk....then do whatever you think would be even more perfect at the moment. Go to a salsa club, a point overlooking the entire city, a night of star gazing, a park...anything! As long as you treat her like a queen she'll never forget it! It worked on me!!! Good luck!

Tell her to put on her best evening gown and just tell her you are taking her out for a night on the town. Take her to a movie all dressed up and a fancy dinner. Or even a play or something of that nature. Give her flowers and keep it sweet and romantic. Just an idea. All I know is that would be super in my eyes!

depends on your age, if you want to celebrate 5 months then you sound young. In that case I would ask you parents if you can cook her a dinner at home and that they not intrude (yes they can be home but just not near the kitchen or dining room) Make sure to have 5 flowers in a small vase at her table setting.
Remember to dress up.

how about a necklace or bracelet? I know you said you was on a limited budget but it does not have to cost a fortune. if she really likes you it will be the thought that counts. I have beautiful jewelery that my children have gotton me that came from wal mart and they mean more to me than a big diamond. also take her out on a picnic instead of a fancy restaurant. good luck

well don't spend a ton of money . just take her to a slightly better restaurant then normal give her flowers and get laid.
