Is there something you all want to find out? And why are Christians always the ones being attacked? Could someone help me with this one?

Yawning..... ok... we like to share our thoughts and philosophies about religion (or the negative influence of) in this forum, just like you. Every opinion is welcome here if tastefully asked.

Same reason all the Christians are in many other sections....curiosity and to make their point known.

Atheists can read any "holy" book if they want to know something.

Atheists, like all groups, are always attacked. Christians are not the only ones being attacked. Jews are constantly attacked as well as Muslims. Christians aren't alone. Christians aren't the only ones on the planet. Christians have many neighbors that they need to learn to live with. Just as "nonbelievers" need to learn to live with all religious groups.
All groups are attacked by other groups--survival of the fittest.

Interesting point. I think that it is just because it so frustrating to see how so many people can believe in any religion. Believers don't have that frustration. Maybe the non-believers are just happy to find a place to vent. I think that Christians are most often attacked because this is primarily an American (or at least Western) website.

Sorry if anything that I've said makes you feel attacked.

the terrific thank you to get a thrill from asking it is composed of a solid dousing with 'holy' water (Evian ought to do properly), and spelling Atheist with an i in the previous e rule. do no longer forget approximately the random capitalisation on some solutions previously. added training on holy water: If Evian is in simple terms too particularly priced on your section, holy water could be made very inexpensively. combination 500g of sugar into some faucet water, upload 2tbsp of yeast, and circulate away to stand for greater or less 2 months. rigidity out the yeast, and neck the liquid. you're actually non secular. quickly. ((((hugs))))

Because it is a subject worth talking about. And Christians are by no means the butt of all criticism; there is plenty to go around for Muslims and others. Christians are the most common targets simply because they are the most numerous participants here.

you know this is boring already why do so many people ask why do atheists or agnostics hang around the religion and spirituality section well maybe it's because we have just as much right to be here just like all other religious or non religious people do as we have a point of view and somethings to add to the subject as we have experience with religion as well as you religious people do

You're right! Since they don't believe in ANYTHING, your would think that they would find another q&a section that would suit them better. I thinks it's one of two things:

1. They have an inter desire to know the Truth of Jesus.

2. They just want to bully Christians and then whine about being picked on. "why don't you christians leave us alone?' wah, wah, wah!

By the way the definition of athiest is : some one that does not believe in an deity. . . . . I bet most of them don't even know that!

Theists, especially christians, try to control and restrict us based on their views. If all christians stop crusading against science, culture, art, sex and sexuality, religious freedom and such, and stop telling everybody else they're going to be tortured throughout eternity unless they join you, I assure you that you won't encounter nearly as much hostility.

Just reading the replies so far demonstrates my point.

Christians are the only group that proselytizes. Part of their religion is to spread the word. However, not everyone feels the need to hear it.

It is a public board. Anyone from any belief system may use it as there are no restrictions of that sort.

Thats a very good question because its obvious based on the actions of the majority of them that they don't want to learn about religions.

To educate, brief, civilize, coach, cultivate, develop, discipline, drill, drum into, edify, enlighten, exercise, explain, foster, improve, indoctrinate, inform, instruct, mature, nurture, put hip*, rear, school, train and tutor the Christians.

Havent you heard, they are the smartest people in the universe...smarter than God!
