Well first off how old are you? Where did you meat him? Have you seen his picture, have you talked to him on the phone? My friend did the same exact thing she thought she new the guy so well he wasn't like 60 years old or anything, he was her age, they met up and he said I am not letting you leave my apartment until I have s*x with you, he beat her up, and took out a gun, she had to do it, she told the police, and he was sent to jail...now she always makes sure she really knows the person! so try to figure out if you really know him!

No reason he should be disappointed if you've been honest with him. If you haven't been honest then that is your problem.
Pick a public place to meet...perhaps even have a friend with you the first time to make sure everything is kosher (or at least let a friend know where you are and have a time to call and 'check in').
Relax and enjoy...if either of you ends up not liking the other as much as you thought, no harm done..ya had to meet to find out.

If you were my friend I would be against meeting an online stranger. But if you do, you better not provide your address, etc. and go with a few friends for safety reasons.

First, make sure you meet in a public place. It doesn't hurt to be safe than sorry.
If he really likes you for the person you are, your physical appearance shouldn't matter. If he's shallow and doesn't like what he sees, forget him and move on.

As long as you have told him the truth about your appearance, then why would he be disappointed? Maybe you will be the one disappointed when you meet him. Have you thought of that?

Worrying is natural. Just try to be relaxed as you usually are in your online communication. He'll be just as worried himself as you are.
