Cheating can only be defined by the two people in the relationship. Cheating, to take advantage of a situation by the breaking of accepted rules or standards. Of course, there are universal rules and standards but in this day & age of experimentation and such - who knows what normal standard is anymore?!?!?!

It's cheating either way in my opnion. Too many times I have know a guy to take a girl back afetr messing (from kissing to sex) with another guy using the excuses: drunk, I couldn't hlep it, he mad me feel sexy/good about myslef. A lot of guys are too willing to accept the "he didn't mean anything to me, it was purely physical" excuse for such beahavior. Guys don't want another guy with their girl but they really don't the guy to have touched her emotinally; he can get over the physical because he can do what the other guy did but a guy hates to be compared emtionally to another guy.

It's a two way street where the same thing applies ot both sexes.

Establish rules and standards.

I would say even flirting is cheating because it often leads to it. You don't go into the bar and ask the bar tender to pour you one if you are not planning on drinking it. No matter what you tell yourself or others. That said a lot of people secretly get aroused by the idea of the other mate cheating a little. As long as they know they will come back.

This might not be the case for other guys. But, I would only think it would classify as cheating if the intention is there to cheat on him. If my girlfriend accidently hooked up with someone else, I would probably be a little worried. But, would only break up with her if I knew she did it on purpose without thinking about my feelings. If it just happened and she still has feelings for me, than I would just try to forgive and forget (depending on the severity of cause).
I hope this helps.

Well I'm Gay but, Cheating is cheating. To be honest I've cheated but not emotionally. Just sex to me is not cheating unless you do it more than once with the person. Then you start to develop a "Bond" which is supposed to be with your "Partner" only. Make sense? Maybe it's just an excuse but, that's how a lot of guys think.

I don't know where you got the idea that doing something behind your girlfriends back isn't cheating just because there are other circumstances. It's cheating on both of their parts. However I have heard of people being gf and bf and having an open relationship where they we're both allowed to mess around with other people.

Cheating can occur with someone you have feelings for or not, if they are not the person who you are in a supposedly committed relationship with.

And of course it works both ways...cheating is cheat, doesn't matter if it's the dude or the chick doing it.

if the girl friend is doing the exact same thing, it is not cheating, it is fair game for all, and a crap relationship to begin with.
move on.

I consider anything more than a kiss on the cheek(mabye lips for family) cheating. and I would consider it cheating if I did the same.

as long as you weren't in a relationship once you made out with the different guy it extremely is not cheating. the only reason you're able to could desire to tell him what you probably did on a similar time as you 2 have been aside is that if he asked no matter in case you probably did do something sexual with yet another man or woman on a similar time as you have been aside. yet, that being mentioned he has no reason to maintain that over your head on account which you 2 have been aside. additionally you does no longer could desire to tell him on account which you 2 have been aside. in my opinion i do no longer think of you're able to desire to get returned with your ex because of the fact he sounds like a repeat criminal. apart from he's lots older then you definately that's truly helpful to get including the guy you went on the date with.

I am not a guy but hey, I don't think that anyone wants to have their bf or gf cheat in ANY way on them. sure you can talk with other people, hand out with them but I would only in a croud unless you have been friends with them for a while, and don't hug people that arnt related to you are your friend that you gf or bf knows.... that is all I have so good luck!
