for our swimming championship ; it is traditional for us swimmers to dye our hair bleach blonde, now heres my dilemia . Thursday night, i dyed it bleach blonde, but it didnt work. So, Friday morning we did it again , and now its really blonde . Today is Saturday, and Championship is next Saturday. Afterwards, i want to dye it back, thus, ending everyone cristicizing my hair. Is it smart to wait a week, or should i buy restorative conditioners during that week, but i dont want split ends, cut it, not to mention that it will be so damaged that it will fall off, if anyone knows anytihng, please help, i would be most apreciatice

As a swim team parent of 3 for a lot of years.... hair was a usual target of strange practices... but what you are dying etc is already dead cells... it'll grow back good as new!

YES! It will dry it out and make it really hard to manage. If your hair is dyed Blonde, then it could give it a green tint. If you want to protect your hair from the damage of Chlorine, put conditioner in your ponytail before taking a dip in the pool. Your hair will absorb the nutrients in the conditioner, and will not soak up the chlorine. I have done this ever since I was little. I hope this helps!

Your hair will be fine..They do sell products to remove chlorine but as long as you wash it (with reg shampoo) after the pool it will be fine..I asked the same q? the last time I went on vacation my hair dresser told me what I told you and I had no problems and I went swimming everyday over and over again...Good luck at the championship

You should not be dying your hair so much. I would keep conditioning it every chance I get until I dyed it back to it's natural color. I may even keep it up after that.

put as much conditioner in your hair as you can, but you'll be lucky if your hair does'nt get fried.
