Sme points to consider in your answer:
- do you recieve a prayer chain email?
- do you pray for requests given at church?
- do you sometimes continue praying for many months after the request was made?

I have a list of about oh 25 names or so. Some are Christians struggling but most are in bondage to something. I pray in scripture and only acccording to promises God has given because without that it is less effective. I don't usually tell people that I am praying for them most people that are blinded by Satan exhibit Satan's main characcteristic which is pride so they would most likely react haughtily I have maybe told 1 or 2 that's about it. Some are strangers if I see someone who had an immense amount of pain in their eyes that day. Prayer request hmmm I pray for who God puts on my soul . And i pray as long as I need i don't always remember every day but i do the best i can .

I pray for others in a few ways.
1) An Our father - insert request through Christ our Lord - An Our Father.
2) By submitting this intention in the appropriate place when saying a rosary.
3) Asking for intercession from an appropriate Saint using the appropriate prayer.
Now I'll answer your questions:
- do you recieve a prayer chain email?
I don't believe in chain emails. I don't pass them on or respond to them. If it is repeated often I ask the sender politely to stop sending me them.
- do you pray for requests given at church?
yes
- do you sometimes continue praying for many months after the request was made?
No. We get different requests each week.
- do you tell the people you're praying for them?
Depends on the person.
- do you mostly pray for believers or non-believers?
I pray for Christians and for the conversion of sinners and for mankind as a whole.
- do you mostly pray for your family and friends, or for strangers?
All of the above.

When I am praying I ask him to bless and watch over all people. When I receive prayers in e-mails yes I pray them, yes I pray for the requests made in church, I pray for both non-believers and believers but I believe that non-believers need it most. I pray for my family, friends, and strangers. I pray for the well being of people and that they may come to know the Lord.

I PRAY directly to THE GOD/JESUS.
No chain mail-thanks.
When there is a request from Church group I DO pray for them.
Pay for a week or two depending on request and/or need.
Not very often tell people.
Most often that someone becomes a believer.
FAMILY, then acquaintances, then strangers.
I often post on the Yahoo HE Prayer Group site so that over 1,300 others can PRAY too!

It says pray without ceasing, so when I pray I sometimes take a shorter time than someone who has not prayed in a while. God knows all of our requests.
