Astrology is the belief that by consulting the heavens and the stars one can understand the world around us and can better decide what they should do in life. This flies in the face of the entire message in scripture that we direct our lives by the Word of God and His Word is ALL WE NEED to direct our lives.

I'd assume it's because you would be saying that the universe has the power rather than the one who created it, meaning you are 'mislead' and Satan is responsible for misleading people. I guess it could fit under the 'false idols' category. It's also considered a 'false science' which may mean that it was created by Satan to fool people.
I was into astrology for a long time but I lost interest after awhile. I never thought of it as devil related, just somewhat pointless and empty. It's not spiritual 'enough' for me even though I'm not a religious person in any sense.

Depends on what you mean by 'Anti-theist'. There really is no one definition other than personal fancy, therefore it's impossible to make an exhaustive list of famous people. The line between the strong atheist and an anti-theist is like a line drawn upon water.

I really don't know the reason, instead of that I believe in astrology as any kind of science.

They wanted to make sure that the new converts became afraid of Paganism. Yep, for awhile there Paganism and Christianity were definately head to head. Paganism was the old faith, and Christians wanted EVERYONE to become just like them, so they had to add things so that people would convert.

it depends on the public apology of different community the reason behind it every community having the different rule and regulations so contradictions is must but when we are talking about Hindu Religion then they are follows the astrology boldly so don' t confused try it

Because it affiliates your future by the movement of the planets?
and thats against monotheism
because in monotheism no one but God has the power to affect you in any way.
and no one but God knows your future too
any kind of divination may be considered evil as it uses sources like spirits to tell your future...planets may have small effects on us like the moon does...but the effect is too small to mention.

Essentially astrology goes against the faith that whatever is going to happen is going to happen and god is always kind to us.

It's nonsense - that competes with the nonsense of religion. Just another 'all other religions are evil' thing that actually is itself evil.

Because it is incongruent with the Christian faith. Im sure there are other religions that center around it though. cant bring any to mind
