Yes it is possible, as an atheist I am still interested in why?
Why do people think that their religion is the only true religion?
I have asked so many question, and had so many violations that I have lost count.
If you ask your question because you are seeking knowledge, you will have no problem, if you are asking a question wit the intention of taking the pi*s you will have many problems, as I did?
I have many problems with all religions , and still do but ask away do it with the intention to seek knowledge, not with the intention of 'proving' other people to be wrong, that's impossible.Good luck in your quest!

You can ask any kind of question. We will try our best to answer it.
The Pillars of Belief (Aqeedah) in Islam are:
1. Allah - He is Unique without any partners. All worship is for Him alone.
2. Angels - Creations of Allah. They obey His commands at all times.
3. Books - All original revelations; Old Testament, New Testament, Last Testament (Quran) are from Allah.
4. Messengers - (prophets) of Allah. All prophets were humans and they came with a message for their people, in the language of the peole, so they could understand, "There is only One God - Worship Him alone, without partners."
5. Day of Judgment - All humands, good and bad will be raised up for Judgment.
6. Predestination - Allah already Knows the outcome of everything. There is nothing that happens in the heavens and the earth, except Allah has full knowledge and controla over it.
In fact "Allah" is the perfect word to describe the "One God" of monotheism.
Where Does the word "Allah" Come From?
"Allah" comes from the Arabic word "elah" - (Arabic) means 'a god' or something that is worshipped. This word (elah) can be made plural, as in "aleha" and it can be male or female. "Allah" comes from "elaha" but it brings more clarification and understanding.
Allah = Has no gender (not male and not female)
* "He" is used only out of respect and dignity - not for gender
Allah = Always singular - Never plural
* "We" is used only as the "Royal WE" just as in English for royalty
Allah =Means "The Only One to be Worshipped"
Is "Allah" only for Islam and Muslims?
"Allah" is the same word used by Christian and Jewish Arabs in the Bible, before Islam came.
On page one [1] of Genesis in the Old Testament, we find the word "Allah" seventeen [17] times.
"Allah" - FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
(First Read: "How To Answer Questions About Islam - New!")
The questions atheists usually ask regarding our belief in Allah or God, vary somewhat but, they are predictable. Let us consider a few:
1. "If Allah (God) created everything - then who created God?
2. "How can you believe in God, when you can't see, hear, touch, smell, taste or even imagine what He is?"
3. "Can God do anything?" Examples: Could God die? Or can God make a rock so big that nothing can move it? - If He did make a rock so big, nothing could move it, does that mean that He couldn't move it too? Or would it be impossible for Him to make something so big that He couldn't move it?"
4. "Where is God?"
5. "Why did God create everything?"
6. "Is God pure, good, loving and fair? - If so, then where does evil, hatred and injustice come from?"
7. "Does God really have power of things? - If so, then why does He let people become sick, oppressed and die?"
8. "Can you prove there is a God?"
9. "Does God know everything that is going to happen? - Does He have absolute control on the outcome of everything? - If so, how is that fair for us? Where is our free will then?"
10. "If there is only one God, then why are there so many religions?
11. "How do you know that the Quran is really from God?"
12. "Why does the Quran say "We" if Allah is only One?"
13. Why does the Quran use "He" if there is no gender implied?"

Muslims should not be offended by questions that are asked in insincerity and to gain information without some sting in the tail or within that seeks to condemn Islam and/or Muslims.
I agree that it is almost impossible to get the cooperation of many Muslims when one asks questions about Islam, especially when the question touches on the sensitivity of belief in other than the Quran.
To be quite frank, most Muslims have strayed from Quran and choose to follow Hadith, which allows them the freedom to avoid the good deeds the Quran commands, but which makes them un-Islamic as well, so you may be offending those who have strayed from Islam but still claim to be Muslim.

Knowledge without wisdom is baseless, so I would like to update your words.
Islam is the road away from fear.
Holy quran says about the people of faith, in almost 18 different places, in first 10 chapters of it.
"La khaofun alaehim walahun yahzanoon". ( They shall have no fear nor shall they grieve)

People relish the feeling of being offended, it makes them feel superior and self righteous. I love the saying "I used to be offended, now I'm just amused". That's my philosophy these days.
I live in a very mixed neighborhood - Moslem, Black, Puerto Rican and White and someone is always crying racism. It's hilarious! Our family is a big adopted, married mix of Portuguese, Jewish, Hispanic and Black so my kids and husband are totally color blind. This is the best answer I can give without offending anyone...
