If you have had some type of surgery it could be adhesion's. If you are a female it could be endometriosis, menstrual cysts.
I had endometriosis for a while before I was diagnosed, when moving sometimes it would feel like my insides were stuck together and tearing apart at the same time sharp pain that would just about take my breath away all i could do was bend and hold my side. Try holding a pillow to your stomach when getting up or down for some reason that seemed to ease mine.

It is difficult to provide answers without more info. You did not state your age. If you are older, based on your description of the location of the pain it may be an occult inguinal or femoral hernia. The pain associated can be described as tearing, and you do not need to see a bulge to have a hernia. If it is a hernia they will get worse over time, just wanted you to know that. It also may be you have diverticulosis, based on the location of the pain. The most common segment of the bowel involved is the sigmoid colon in the lower left quadrant. A sigmoidoscopy would confirm this.

The most common causes are a urinary system disorder such as a bladder or kidney problem, a bowel problem or a condition involving the reproductive system. You must go to a doctor if it persists. There is no other option!

Unbelievable. You don't want to go to a doctor. I guess you'll never know what it is.

If you're female it could be an ovarian cyst.
If you're male it could just be a tendon that is strained.
It could be an inflamed appendix.
