This question is for my boyfriend...He says he absolutely hates shaving and was wondering what alternatives actually work. Of course, I have recommended either electrolosis or the laser-removal options but, he says this is too expensive and time-consuming. So, does anyone out there know (For SURE!!) what else would work for the tough, thick hair on a man's face? I told him something like Nair might work but, he is worried that his skin might burn from leaving it on long enough to work. (Maybe softening everything up with hot wet towels first??) I hope someone out there can suggest something that actually works as, I am getting really tired of him whining about it!!

He could grow a beard.

It would be good to know why he hates shaving. It may be the way he's doing it or the instrument he's using.

Some men can shave against the grain with a regular razor but this is irritating to others ... especially on the neck.

Perhaps an investment in a high end electric shaver would be the ticket.

Tell your boyfriend to ante up the money and go for laser. It's not unaffordable. Going to the dentist costs more! It would end his misery forever. It may not stop the growth of all his beard but it would greatly cut it back to almost nothing. If it bothers him that much, just encourage him to start saving up for it! He could go for waxing, but that would sting! Lotion and cream hair removal can irritate and I don't think they'd work very good on men's beards. It's even hard for us girls to get rid of coarse textured hair. Laser is the only way to go. Electrolysis would take a hundred years so forget that! Tell him to look for when they have a sale on laser treatments. Sometimes they do have 50% off specials. Or he could buy the type of electric razor that gives you that rough half-shaven look. He wouldn't have to fuss as much as it's not meant to do a perfect shave anyway. It's for the rebel guy, maybe that's him!

I wax Brazilian type and that i have no issues - I truly recommend it, yet make effective you employ an truly delicate wax. search for suggestion from someone at a attractiveness keep - they are going to be able that can help you you %. some thing. also, doing it with a wax pot as adverse to a microwave or pot of boiling water makes existence a lot extra reachable! A hair eliminating cream is yet an option decision yet i imagine will be tedious dealing with doing that as often as you would possibly want to in case you've been shaving... yet yeah, in case you've a extra effective danger with that. only a tip for prevention.... EXFOLIATE the shaved aspects with a strong exfoliating cream and a loofah when you're contained in the bathe. wish this facilitates!

I've found that washing my face with hot water first helps plus I use the older style double bladed safety razor for a close shave that lasts for a few days so I don't have to shave as much. When I get tired of shaving I grow a beard if it don't bother the people around me.

try a nair type product for sensitive skin, leave it on for about a minute less than recommended on the box. u can also try cream bleach if you only want to lighten the hair.

also alternate route: waxing, epilatory or threading

Holy sh*t! Don't let him put a depilatory like Nair on his face! Yeah, he'll end up with chemical burns.
