can anyone tell me approx.how much it would cost to have a fibro house vinyl cladded?

I am so over painting and would like to know about how much it would cost to see if it is an option for me.I live in outer sydney australia.

I don't know what a fibro house is, but if you mean cement fiber, or Hardy Board, I wouldn't cover it up as that is a better siding.

Now if you want to estimate the cost of vinyl siding, go to the lumber yard or where every you want to purchase the brand you like and ask what the cost is per square.

The real cost of vinyl siding is in the trim, so find out what J molding runs a stick and ditto for corners inside and out. Usually a stick is about 10 Ft. long here in the US.

Measure the circumference of a window and multiply by the total number of windows, ditto for doors. Measure the long side and short side of the house.

Then you know the square footage you need to cover and the total trim runs you need.

Take that figure and that is about 25% of the cost.

If you want to cover the siding with Styrofoam panels, that will run more.
