What do you think?

Question

I am going to be moving with my dad next month
because I'm not happy in the house that I'm living
in. The reasons are:

I'm never happy to see my stepdad when he
comes home.

My sister is almost always getting on my nerves.

And I am always depressed when I go home.

When I visit my dad, I feel very happy and almost all of my troubles melt away.

Do you think this is a good decision?

As soon as I walk in the door, I feel tired and depressed.

have you discuss this with your dad? try to live with you dad for few months and see how you getting on. then only you can decide it. you feel happy whenever you visit your dad because you haven't see him for quite sometime so when you see him, everything looks fine.
but have you try to live with him? spend more time with him so you will know how is he when he is at home and how the two of you manage things together. if both of you find it enjoyable then go ahead.

Yes. No matter who you are with, family, friends, co-workers at a job, if your daily life is miserable all the time, eventually YOU WILL get sick, and many times BAD SICK; strokes, heart attacks, etc.
You have to choose between your health, or living with people that do mind games on you. You have made the right decision. It will make your dad happy, too. He can always use someone close in his life.

I think its perfectly fine. But you know when I moved in with my mom, I started to miss everyone...even all of my brothers. I think you should move in with your dad and then if it doesnt work out......whats wrong with trying it? Nothing that bad could happen. So for now i wish you the greatest of luck

Just remember u get along with your dad now cause u r not living with him. There will be rules where ever u go.

remember the grass isn't always greener on the other side, i take it your mom is OK with the whole idea, if its good for all parties involved then sure its a good decision.
