An introduction to the seductive art of French Kissing.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: N/A
Here's How:
Set the scene. Make sure that the mood and time are right.
Relax! Take a deep breath and let go of any tension in your neck and shoulders.
Put your arms around the person you want to kiss.
Start off with a normal kiss, not too firm, not too aggressive. Closing your eyes is optional.
In mid kiss, gently open your mouth and softly nudge the other persons mouth open using your tongue.
Again, not too aggressively, move your tongue inside the other persons mouth and playfully touch their tounge.
Read the other persons body language, if they seem tense or start to pull away, stop what you are doing.
If they open their mouth more or otherwise indicate they like the kiss, keep on doing what you have been only with a little more passion.
As the kissing gets going saliva build up can be a problem, don't forget to swallow.
Make sure you keep your tongues relaxed but your lips tight (saliva again), you don't want the kiss to turn messy.
Tips:
Don't forget to breathe.
Since French Kissing is "wetter" than other kinds of kissing it is a good idea to start with dry lips, don't lick them first.
If one of you have braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be more careful and not as forceful when things get passionate.
If both of you wear braces you can still French Kiss, you just have to be very gentle and avoid touching teeth.
French Kissing takes practice, but at least it is fun to practice this one

Here's the rule of thumb - definately close your eyes when you are first kissing. Through most of the kissing usually most people keep their eyes closed but it is nice to open them once in awhile, especially if your lips are changing positions. I don't think that french kissing or regular kissing as anything to do with it. Just go along and do what feels right, but you probably don't want to just stare at someone oddly, with your eyes open, the whole time kissing.

Most of the time I close my eyes. Not sure why, never really thought about it... it seems awkward to be staring at someone so close, and hard to focus the eyes anyway. Oh, and keeping the eyes open seems distracting to me...

I like to concentrate on my lips and tongue when french kissing... I don't want the distraction of my eyes staring awkwardly... I just want to enjoy the kiss.

I close my eyes, Why? physically, it's like biting into a very juicy apple or sucking a very sweet pear. It shows that you are really enjoying the person and the moment. Mentally, it proves how much you trust a person. Keeping your eyes open means that you'e either very cautious or untrusting. Kissing with eyes closed means that you trust that person with your all and that the person means alot to you.

Only if I'm kissing a sock. Otherwise, I keep my eyes open just to see what the other person looks like with their eyes closed.

I do most of the time.Reason is cause it's just natural for me.I tend to get nervous on my kissing so I close my eyes to try to forget the nervousness.I still get nervous when I kiss my boyfriend of 4 years.

I didn't when I had a girlfriend, but she thought it was weird, so naturally I closed my eyes for her. Otherwise, people normally think it's weird to have your eyes open when someone is so close to your face; not only is it creepy for them, it's hard for your eyes to focus.

i usually have my eyes open when i kiss b/c i like to watch my boyfriend's face.

And for all of the answerers who say it's not as intimate and it's awkward and the relationship sucks... it's very intimate to look into your b/f's eyes while you're kissing, you should try it.. it's not awkward, it makes me want to rip his clothes off.. and the relationship doesn't suck, we've been going strong for 5 years, no slowing down...
