Write your hurts in the sand; but carve your Blessings in stone.

What are your thoughts? (please be respectful)

Seeker, it IS nice, isn't it?
I cannot take credit for it, though I read it (or something very close to it) somewhere and just gave it my own little twist!

I think that is pretty cool!!!

I do a similar practice. If there is something I am worried about or a negative feeling that I have, I write it down on a piece of paper and I burn said paper. I watch the ashes blow away in the wind. I like your sand idea better and watch the ocean wash away my fears.

I write down my blessings in a book so later on in life when I am feeling doubtful, I can go back and reread them! Carving them in stone would only well... set them in stone. :)

This is one of those practices that anyone of any faith can do. Whether you are a Christian giving your fears to God or a New Ager like me doing meditation and manifestation, it really helps!

Great suggestion!

I agree with you...we would all do well to practice this...but it's easier said than done! Some of those hurts seem carved on our hearts!

Nice. Did you come up with that by yourself?

I say forgive, but never FORGET. He who does not learn from the mistakes of his past, is doomed to repeat them.
