iv read the bible, so i can actuelly say this, the book is full of guilt, it says its bad to feel ur natural instincts (anger, pride, lust, ect). it says "god" created man, from a handful of dust, made the dust into a person, and breathed threw the nostrils to give him life [genesis 2:7]...hello?!?!...lets go out and grab some dirt and make a person =P...
i do believe in magic, and the power of the brain. i do believe someone can heal someone else like jesus did many times, it just depends on ur mental strenght, i believe thats possible because i think that faith, has to do with believeing in ur mental strenght. im a satanist, and iv preformed rituals that have worked, and it worked because i had faith it would work, not faith in a "god".
The bible says that u should offer ur right cheek then u should offer ur other cheek as well, if ur sued for ur shirt, then offer ur coat, if asked to carry supplies for a mile, carry it two[Matthew 5:39-41]...why would u let people take such advantage of u and not stand up for yourself?
i dont understand Christianity at all. its pretty much saying be a numb robot, except for loveing a god who apparantly exist, but to me is far to busy with the rest of the universe to care about the daily problems of the flesh
if this didnt answer ur question, maybe it gave u some more advice on what christianity is REALLY about..

You know why they are hypocritical? because they are just like everyone else.There's good and bad in everyone.St. Paul even warned about this.He said "After I go, there will be men who will come in like ravening wolves and lead people away". How true ,how true.John the Apostle writes that even in his day there wre men trying to shut him out and take over the congregations.It takes a lot of spiritual discerment to tell right from wrong in the religious world.If you use the Bible for your straight edge(canon) you can't go wrong.

You should not judge Christianity necessarily by the people who claim to practice it. The messenger is not the same as the message itself. Judge Christianity by the Bible.

while believing, you must also act...
