Everynight before i go to bed, i have to repeat the same sentence. I have been doing it for like a year now. Also, i can't stand when things are out of order. Is this OCD?

You could have OCD. OCD likes to hide. So I'm assuming you have many other symptoms that you are not writting down, because they are imbarrasing for you to admit. You might not even realise some of the other things you do are OCD. This assuming that you do have OCD. If you disagree with these statements you definitly don't have OCD.
A good website is http://www.planetocd.com. You can also join Serenity Bay Yahoo groups, to ask you questions to people who have OCD.
You can also read the book "Feeling Good", but some unknown author. It's an absoultly crappy book to read, but it is helpfull in that it describes in detail common mental illnesses and their treetments. It's a bit dull to read, but then you aren't looking for entertainment either.
You can also contact your local mental health association, or puplic mental heath, or some such thing (depending on where you life), and ask them to send you information.
But I definitly urge you to speek with your family doctor, discuss it and ask to be sent to a psychiatrist if need be.

Those things can definitely be symptoms of OCD. It can be hard to diagnose b/c the symptoms can be so varied. But, you should know that you are not alone if you do. There are SO many people in our nation and the world with the same thing. And so many more undiagnosed.
The symptoms can be so varied, that it can be hard to diagnose. But, once it is, treatment can be very successful. Please go talk to a doctor. This is a real disease with a real chemical inbalance behind it. Don't let anyone tell you that its just "mental" or you can work through it. You probably can't on your own. But, with a doctor's help, you can get better! There are medicines as well as several different therapies. Be sure to find a doctor you trust and a therapy that works for you.
And, OCD can onset at lots of different ages, so even though its only been for the past year, it could be. But, don't worry. Just go get help.
God bless you and good luck.

I guess it could be a mild case of OCD. I myself count as I walk 1234,1234 all the time. I think most people have some OCD tendencies I doubt you have any serious problem with it.

I think everyone has a little bit of OCD. What matters is if it is interfering with your functioning in daily life. If it is, it is time for you to talk to a psychiatrist about it. If you have health insurance, it will be covered. A family physician is not the person to discuss this with, as they are not as familiar with the disease and medications.

no, trust me i have ocd, ocd is much worse. ocd is when you lets say in your case if you were to repeat the same sentence over for an hour. you only have ocd if you spend time doing things like that for an hour or more a day, i tend to only have10 free hours of my day without ocd symtoms

It could be a slight form of OCD. Everyone is like that. I must make sure that everything is in order. If you feel like it is really bothering you, you can talk to a councelor or a therapist.

only an educated psychiatrist can tell you that. see if your medical plan covers mental health and find a provider near you so you can start treatment. OCD is a hard thing to live with
