Devestated! Losing a pet is losing a family member. We lost one of our cats to cancer 4 years ago, it still hurts and I still think about him and miss him every single day.

Hi Chyanne...most people feel very sad and lonely when their pets die as they were not only a companion but a friend who filled their hearts with joy. Losing a pet feels like an empty void or a big hole in your soul.

They are my family, and I grieved for them very much. This is a normal reaction for anyone that is very close to their pets. You can always get a new pet, even though you can never replace the one that has died. I think as soon as you can ,get a new pet to love, but you'll never forget your faithful companions.

I would feel pretty sad.I hade this cat before she was a kitten.Well my mothers boyfriend was allergic so we had to keep her outside.I had a little house for her and blankets...but then it came that time when she got hit by a car and passed away.I was really sad and i cryed alot.But i adventually get over it.I still miss her this day.

I became depressed i had him for 3 years and he helped me get through some touph years but i still see him chasing the butterflies in my backyard hes buurried under a big pecan tree we have that was his favorite spot during his life but i still have his kittens which is good,

u feel EXTREMLY sad!!!i had a loss of my cat named Berkly one day. my mom had to put her asleep cuse she had liver disease. when i found out that my mom did i ran in my room & cried forever. shes been gone for 3 yrs. & i still cry about her when i think of her. i want to make a song about her cuse i miss her & luv so much.when i was sad, she would come on my lap & pur then get up & rub her body on me. they r family. they will never leave ur heart. if u had a loss, im very sorry. i hope this information will be great for u!!!^-^!!!

I cried my eyes out when I lost my first cat. She was only 3 and she died of a heart attack.

I WAS O SO GUTTED WHEN MY DOG TINY DIED LAST YEAR I CRIED FOR AGES MY LIL SIS TEXT ME SAYING SHE'D DIED : ' ( I remeber her being born, and cause she was the smallest of the lot we called her tiny, That was nearly 11 yrs ago,we had her mum for bout 2yrs prior, miss her lots, mitsy my parents other dog missesher lots too RIP TINY MISS YOU LOTS X X

i was so sad,when my dog had to 'go',but i know he had a good life,he was ill and couldn't go far,he got out of breath,i had him many years,but it was his time.i think we are sad for us not them,especially if they are suffering,we should think about the pain they will not suffer anymore,if they were looked after,even for a short time then at least they were happy too!
