We can compare religions according to their works...as the Bible says.
Ever notice that Buddhists don´t tend to start wars and kill people?

Religion itself isn't the problem. Its the people who manipulate the religious who change the meaning of the message being delivered to the believers that cause all the trouble. A one world religion wouldn't make a difference if the people weren't spiritual. Once the people are spiritual and see that all religion is from One Source, that religion is progressive like the teachers in school and that there is a Messenger for our time as there was for the times of Moses, Jesus and Muhammad there will be justice and peace on the earth, the oppressors will not have a job and people will Love God and then of course, each other. The world will be a much better place for all people. Even the psychopaths who like to run everything will have work. They just won't be doing anyone any harm.
P.S. Antichrist is anyone who is of the spirit of the antichrist meaning that they are against the true meaning of Christ which is Messiah which means anointed descendant of David the King who sits upon the throne of God in the World. Ps 89 & Jeremiah 33.
P.S.S I'm not a christian but would be if I wasn't following Jesus instructions for his return.

Little princess I am sorry to disagree with you but Buddhist countries start wars as much as anyone. Religions don't start wars Governments start wars. Globalization of religion has pretty well already occurred. Can you name a country where there is no religion? I neither find an advantage nor a disadvantage in it. Now I find disadvantage where Governments are controlled by religion. And where Governments disallow religion even though governments have not been able to prevent religion. BB

The advantage(s) would be that there would be no war over religion. Except there would be fractions within the religion that would kill each other. So, I guess that wouldn't be an advantage.
Humm... well, we could ... um... Yes. If the globalized religion was Buddhism then maybe the world would be better off, since their 'religion' is so peaceful and tolerant.
Disadvantages of globalization of religions... we would have to kill off all the people who refused to convert to the chosen Church.

If by globalization you mean combining religious beliefs making a one world religion; then the biggest disadvantage for Christians would be removing the very essence of salvation, the fact that Jesus is the only way to heaven.
Take Christ out of the picture and you have lost the whole purpose of Christianity.

The globalization of religion? The world remains divided religiously with certain regions being dominated by one faith or another.
An advantage of international spread of a religion - it serves as a rallying force to unite people. A disadvantage of international spread of a religion - it can also serve as a wedge between the believers and the unbelievers, and can cause the sharpening of regional tensions between areas of dissimilar faiths..

Disadvantage: 1- international rules over our constitution and other nations's contittutions. That would be the war for freedom or war for democracy we see today all at expense of our population. 2- we will be, as we are doing today, bailing out a lot of foreign financial businesses overseas, that do not pay neither constribute a dime to our nation. 3- international regulatory agencies manipulating the markets and establishing a kind of socialism, selecting who is going to fail today to help someone else they decide tomorrow, like picking winners and lossers. 4- Terrible for the currency markets 5- Terrible for competition

There is true and good religion and there is false and bad religion. It can never mix. Globalization will try to cover true religion under the trap of false unity, but the small remnant will remain faithful to the Lord. Amen.

There is going to be a one world religion during the seven year tribulation period with a one world ruler. The disadvantage of it is that you'll have to have a global mark put on your hand or forehead to buy, sell, or trade. To receive this mark, you forever claim your allegiance to the "antichrist" and are forever denied of God. If not, you go on the run and fare for yourself or die. The day is coming according to the Bible.
