At your age you are more likely to be slim. You do seem to eat a lot of high calorie food, but you probably eat small portions. Having one cream egg for breakfast is hardly anything. No one would get fat on those kind of meals. Eat a large substantial breakfast like a fry with two eggs, two rashers of bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and a couple of slices of bread with it, or if that is too much for you a large bowl or two of porridge would help build you up. Eat less snacks as you seem to be eating this instead of real meals. Have a substantial lunch of proper food, then a large dinner at home and tea with something later. You don't say how active you are this could have a impact on you're weight. If you do a lot of activity you need to increase the food you eat. Pasta also helps put on weight and don't drink fizzy drinks with your meals as this will suppress your appetite. If all this still dosn't help get your thyroid checked out as this can leed to weight loss, but judging by what you stated in your question, it seems you don't pay enough attention to eating properly and this is the cause of the problem.

I know how you feel, I am 35, 5'6" and weigh 7 stone. I have always been this weight and had a very healthy pregnancy with a baby that weighed 9lb 9oz!! I was told by my doctor years ago to eat fatty, sugary things as there was nothing wrong with me physically. Nowadays they would never tell you to eat all that bad food. Try and eat little and often, High protein foods and go to the gym as muscle weighs heavier than fat. If this does not help then like me you have to accept that thats the way you are!!

Hi...Some would say we were lucky! but i know how u feel...i'm a bit older than you and have always been the same...I must admit after the kids i did put on a BIT of weight...I weigh approx 8.5 stones and am also small in height.. Muscle can add more bulk to your frame so weight liftings a good one...also you can buy a food supplement called 'build up' (for a chemists) it's full of vitamins and really does help you add that bit extra. I'd try to give all those unhealthy meals a miss though..try to exchange some of those things by eating bananas, eggs, cheese and lots of milk.
Sometimes you've just got to learn to accept yourself and live with it...Good luck

First of all, by trying to put weight on by eating, you're only killing yourself. Even though you may think that eating so much and alot of fatty foods will add you weight, it's actually puting your health at risk, introducing cholesteral, sugar, salt, etc. to your body.
The best thing to do is to speak with a doctor. As other people said, it is a thyroid situation. There is medications that can balance the thyroids to even it out. Do not change your daily routine as you once did. DO NOT continue to eat more and more. You will only cause yourself more problems in the long-run.
Look into it and good-luck.

You can try taking Pills, or drink weight gainer milkshakes opposite from a slim fast. Try talking to your nutritionist. But before that I would definitely go to GNC or your local vitamin store is and ask them what they recommend. I know there is a bunch of weight gainer stuff there that like body builders use. I wouldn't recommend too much fast food you'll gain the wrong kind of weight and clog your arteries. its just unhealthy to eat that crap too much.Good Luck!

Try taking in less sugar, more protein for your muscles, and healthy carbs. If you are working out at all try some whey protein from the health food section at Wal Mart, I bulked up pretty good when I was drinking that stuff and working out.
You may also want to see a doctor/ dietician for advice.
18 years old you are at your prime to be in tip top shape too, Please take advantage of it.

Exercise. You will put on muscle weight. Muscles will stay, no matter how many calories you burn. However, if you have a high metabolic rate you may be burning more calories than you eat, regardless of your diet.

Have your thyroid checked, sounds like it has your metabolic rate so high, you need to adjust it before you'll stop burning more calories than you're able to consume in a day.
