I am buying golf gloves for the first time.
I was looking around online and i saw that there were 2 different types of sizes for men's golf gloves.
One kind is the normal large, small, extra large etc and the other kind is the 'cadet' sized glove, e.g. cadet large, cadet extra large etc.
What is the difference between the two?
I am a 22 year old male looking to buy size extra large gloves.
What type of glove should i be buying?

A cadet golf glove has shorter fingers. Make sure the glove fits tight so it will not wrinkle up, and rub. That will cause it to rub hole into it's self. Make sure you don't let the grip cab rub on the glove or it will do the same. Also don't grip the club to tight or you will end up regriping during the swing which will also wear holes in the glove.

The best glove for you is the one where:

1. there is a little bounce in the palm when the glove is on and the hand is wide open.

If there is no bounce in the palm at all then that glove is too big.

If you have a hard time opening up the hand wide then the glove is too small.

2. your fingers reaches into the tips of the glove's fingers
-too much room and the glove is too big.
- the feeling of fingers being jammed in there? too small.

FYI: The cadet glove is a little shorter in the fingers and a little wider in the palm than the men’s regular. Both sizes are equally popular.

The cadet size is for smaller hands, like kids. Buy the extra large Men's gloves.

hmm, i bought a normal cadet, it doesnt really make a difference, just thats a junior glove, so dont buy a cadet since your 22, i bought one because im 13, but you, it depends on your hand size , if you have a huge hand, then try the large, but average would be normal size for you...

Cadet is for people with stubby, short fingers.

Just try both and see what fits you the best.
