Most of them appear to be chubby Dobermans, or slender Rottweilers...but they all appear pretty much the same.
Be sure to keep a faithful vaccination schedule on your pup, as both of these breeds are well known for having little defense against Parvo and Distemper viruses.

A dog that is a mix of two or more breeds could take on almost entirely the traits of either the mother or the father, or could be a mix of the two with any percentage of either showing (i.e. it could look 10% Dobe and 90% Rott, 50-50, 70-30, etc.). In addition, you could get ten puppies in the litter, and they could all have a different look to them - some looking like mom, some looking like dad, and some looking like a mix - and no two of the ones that look mixed might look alike!
You have a good idea what your puppy is going to look like as an adult. Likely it will be like a leaner version of a Rott, with a slimmer, more pointed face. The coloring of both are similar, so the coloring won't be drastically different.
Personality wise, both types of dogs have strong personalities that need a lot of training and discipline. They are both loyal and smart as well. Rotts were built more for physical labor (as can be seen in their burly build), but both are used for protection. It's up to you what kind of personality your puppy develops based on how you train him and treat him now. Start early!

Well he's going to be a mix of both, he'll never look completely like a rottie or a doberman, although they do tend to have a little more of a rottie look to them. it is a nice cross and they grow up to be good looking dogs.
They are quite a well know cross breed in America, known as the Rotterman. Recognised by the ACHC (American Canine Hybrid Club)
Train him well though as he will be a big dog and without the proper training could become dangerous. Theres too many large dogs out there with no control from the owner and at the end of the day its the dog that suffers in the end by being put down because its bitten due to lack of training or respect. If it is done properly he should be a good dog to own.
Good luck!

Ahhhhhhhh,,,,,,,he sounds alot like my Lucky . The size and shape of the snout will lead you to know which is the more dominant type . Doberman being longer Also by the length of the legs in proportion to the body . The Doberman tends to be sleek and the Rott is more muscular . All in all a wonderful combination for a well behaved and loyal pet . When we got Lucky his tail had also been cropped as a pup. Something to think about . Best Wishes,,,,,,ahhhhhh !!!!!

There is no way to predict which breed the dog will take on traits from. It varies by dog. But any dog can be good if raised properly, just love it and train it and it will be a great companion. It will most likely be a larger dog but large dogs are awesome!

You will not. Since it is a mix it will have some or all traits from either or both dogs. That is the purpose of pure bred dogs to know what you will get.

What do you mean? He won't be either "type", he is a Rottweiler/Doberman mix, so he is a mixture of both.

He'll be half rottie, and half dobie, just like he is now.... got one... great dog. little more refined that a rottie, little heavier than a dobie, again, like I said, great dog.... and be sure it is neutered as soon as the vet recommends.... got mine from a rescue place.... 5 million dogs euthanized in this country every year..... don't add to it.... He'll be a much better pet, I promise.
