Regular pencil.
I do not know why but I cannot use a mechanical pencil. Breaks all the time. I use a regular pencil if I need to erase later or a pen with ink if I don't.

Pencil is better because I always run out of the freakin lead and everyone has a pencil sharpener. I am an artist and like the pencil better

I completely think that the mecanical pencil is better. If you make a mistake you can erase it. I just really think that the pencil is better for whatever you are doing.

I'd take the pencil it's way better. But it also depends on the way you use it.
