I have a mole on my upper lip. Im am 12. My mom says its a beauty mark but i think she just doesn't want me to feel bad what should i do? I am thinking about getting it removed?

I have one above my eyebrow and two teeny ones on my cheekbone that I absolutely love.
trust me, there's nothing abnormal about a mole. most people have them. whatever you do, please don't get it removed. as you get older you start to actually appreciate those little things that make you different.

My bf had a beauty mark mole on his upper lip too, and I thought it looked really cute and sexy - it's faded a lot now, so yours might too.
If you are worried, you could see a doctor or a dermatologist, but I honestly think your mom is right, and not to get too bothered about it.
If a girl thinks you are cute, she will like your beauty mark.

Ok. you are a guy and unless it is huge and hideous i wouldn't worry about it too much. I agree with your mom and i don't know what it looks like but people won't hate you because of a mole. take it easy don't worry about it. get it removed if it will make your self esteem better.

I wouldnt get it removed if you are only 12.... You are still growing, you may "grow into it" or it may start shrinking. Whatever you decide to do, make sure it is monitored by a dermatologist... because moles can cause skin cancer.

listen to your mom, she's probably right. and if its really bothering try covering it with a tinted moisturizer or somthing, but trust your mom
