No offense to any of you good ones out there but I have a step mom who has treated me like crap ever since I met her. She has hurt me and called my real mom names and I cant take it. Have you ever had this problem?

Oh yes...
My dad's wife can't seem to say anything nice about anyone. Especially my mom. She's one of those people that think their way is the only way...Ugh.
I'm 18 and out of the house and I still have problems with her. She even says bad things about me to my little sister.
It's not right at all.
Hang in there. She is most likely jealous of the relationship your mom and your dad used to have.
Everytime she says something mean about your mom, just know it's probably not true and she has no right to say things like that!

Yes. My dad died 5 years after being married to my stepmom who was the flower girl @ his wedding when he was married to my mother. She took his pictures down days before his funeral so she avoid any "awkward moments" if she became involved with another man. She was very materialistic & had to have everything when he was alive. I even lost my tuition assistance because my dad couldn't afford it any longer. Her 5th wheel trailer was her "pride & joy". I could go on & on. He's been gone several years now & I hear nothing from her even though she got a nice house, a new truck & car & all his property including a $250,000 life insurance policy, etc, etc. If I won the lottery tomorrow it would take every ounce of strength I have to not buy a fighter plane loaded with bombs to drop on her house. Kinda funny how a majority of marriages end in divorce. Don't stoop to her level & you'll be ok. I was even the best man when my dad got remarried. If I could go back in time I would change that. Hold your head high & pursue college if you can. You always have to be looking out for #1 & that's YOU! I wish YOU the BEST of luck. I even had to ask my stepmom permission for my mom to attend my dads funeral & she told me No! I had my girlfriend set her straight so I wouldn't have to take things into my own hands & my mom did attend the funeral.

I had one too. My dad said that she could not understand the fact that a parent's love for his spouse is different from a parent's love for his children. She seemed to think that she was in competition with us kids.

Yes mail me and we can talk about it. I totally have one that every time she has another kid it gets worse(she has 5 kids now!)
