What do you do when you hear that a woman that caused the breakup of your relationship 10 years ago is back in town for a visit? The ex and I have been back together for 4 years.
Your best friend tells you that she is meeting the girl for dinner. The night before she is to come your boyfriend comes to bed and sounds depressed you ask why. he says he is being nostalgic about things but will not give anymore information. Do you panic and think that he wants the person or act cool? By the way I did not tell him that I heard she was coming back in town but he still has contact with this girls brother.

I'd be pretty suspicious if I were you. Tail `em. And if he gets involved with her yet again, dump the chump. You've got better things to do than be anyone's cuckold...TWICE.

I don't think that you should panic, because the reason he might seem depressed is that he may not want to see a repeat of what that person did to your relationship before. If you are very concerned that he might like her, talk to him about it, the best thing to do in a relationship is to open up to each other and be able to talk to each other. Maybe he does not want to worry you with the problem but if you bring it up, and tell him what you think is happening he might consent and feel more relaxed about talking to you.

There is always a "what if" person for everyone, IMO. Just because this girl is his doesn't mean he's going to cheat on you. I was home for winter break and I went out for coffee with my "what if" person, who I hadn't seen in 2 years, and it was weird, but it made me realize how happy I am in the relationship I have now. Keep an eye on your man and let him know that whatever is bothering him, you're not going to be angry or accusatory over it, but you sincerely want to know what it is that's bothering him so much and you want to help him get through it. You'll know what to do if he breaks your trust again, but give him the chance to be an adult and prove himself to be worth his salt.

I wouldn't panic, but I would ask if there was anything I could do to make things better. I wouldn't keep it a secret that I know she is in town. Besides, she probably has her own life now. Why did she break you up? Or how?

Why not just be honest with your boyfriend? Talk to him and tell him you know. Why not start to be honest with one another. You know how it feels to have loved someone and still have some kind of feelings for them. It doesn't mean that you dont love the person you are with today. Allow him to be sad. let him be honest with you. He may appreciate your support instead of your anger. Good luck.

i would act cool especially since he doesn't know that u know. But I would keep a close watch on your guys behavior and don't say anything about it until she leaves unless he gives u reason to act otherwise.

It sounds like DRAMA and you should have never gotten back together with your ex if he left you for someone else. I think you need to cowboy up and leave him for good and get someone that is there for you only to treat you like a princess.

Play it cool and act like you are better than her. Don't act jealous, and let him know you are the best girl for him.
