Hey from your pic it seems like you have ethnic curly hair, well so do I..
what I do is when my hair is damaged- I simply leave it alone. I straighten my hair ALL the time so sometimes my hair needs a breather. I just wash it, condition it, make sure its moisturized properly (through leave in conditioners) and make sure your scalp is never flaky and dry (hot oil treatments before washing your hair works great)
After this, I let it air dry and simply tie it back or use a headband to keep it out of my face. I did this once for 2-3 months without putting any stress or heat on it and before I knew it my hair was shiny, strong and healthy again.
But since I love my hair straight, I alternate now. I will straighten it then go a week or two natural, and continue the cycle.
Products- Sallys is my hair haven, I love products by proclaim and motions. Motions has great oil moisturizers. I also use Garnier fructis products b/c I have curly hair and they have great leave in's for curly hair to prevent frizz. vo5 hot oil treatment is good too. Good Luck!

Hi i have done exactly the same as you and am in the process of doing what you are now. At the moment I am using Tresemme Shampoo and Conditioner for Extra Dry Week Brittle hair and the deep nourishing hair mask in this range too.I love the stuff it repairs split ends and protects against heat damage and breakage too. Its the only one that doesnt leave a coating on the hair like the other anti breakage shampoos and conditioner. Also it doesnt over moisturies like some do leaving hair like a ball off fluff. I also use a heat protection spray call infratreat you get it from Sally's and a hair serum that repairs split ends, its by supersoft smoothing serum its only £1.99 in a pink bottle from Superdrug, savers, or wilkinsons, its way better than frizz ease and actually repairs split ends and stop others from forming Frizz ease is too greasy for my hair. My hair dresser said its much better now. Leave the masque on for as long as you can and use a hot oil once a week also. Im currently using one from Avon its a Planet Spa Mediterranean Olive Oil hot oil treatment you get it in a bottle and it last ages you just put the bottle in hot water for one minute add to wet hair and then leave on for 1 min rinse and then shampoo and conditon as normal. I think this product really make a difference. Worth a try, You can get it on Avons Website or request a brochure and post your order.

Here's what my mom did when her hair got really thin. You buy a deep conditioning treatment, any kind will do,(Biolage fortetherapie is good, but if you want something cheaper, Queen Helene's cholesterol is also good)put it in your hair, and go sit in a sauna for about 15 minutes. If a sauna is not close by, you can heat up a little bit of olive oil, put it in your hair, wrap your hair in ceramwrap, and put a hot towel around your head. Shampoo your hair twice, don't condition, and let your hair air dry. Also, some products that I highly recommend are the Biolage fortetherapie line, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration line, and Aveda. One more tip: If you must blow dry your hair, do it on the dryer's cool setting, it's much less damaging.

1)Hair Conditioner
Mix half a cup of honey with two tablespoons olive oil. If your hair is very dry, add a third tablespoon. Section off your hair and coat it well with the mixture. Cover your hair with a shower cap so you don't mess up the entire house. In addition, the shower cap traps heat from your scalp, enabling the oils to penetrate further. Wash off after half an hour.
2)Hair Shine
Stir 1 teaspoon honey into 4 cups warm water. After shampooing, pour mixture through hair. Do not rinse out. Dry as usual. Your hair will shine.

3)Hair Care
For hair that shines, add the juice of a lemon to one cup water. Pour it over your hair after shampooing as a final rinse. Do not rinse off.?
Squeeze lemon juice in your hair while rinsing off the shampoo. This removes shampoo residue from your hair and smells great!?
Troubled by hair loss? Try this: Mix the juice of one lemon with 4 tbsp coconut milk. Massage it into your scalp and wash off after half an hour. Do this at least once a week to arrest hairfall

I Think I am the correct person to answer this question.Because I have too long hair. You simply do what I am saying.Use one shampoo regularly don't change the brand frequently.Rinse your hair with more water after applying shampoo.Rinse your hair twice in a week.Next day apply coconut oil.Comb your hair softly.Try this you will see better development.......

ummmmmmm

i know that i sounds weird but use egg whites(only ) and mix into yr hair b4 cndition and after shampoo... kept it like that for about 10-15 min and wash itout with luke-warm-water

do it every other day for a week or so and let yr hair air dry instead of blow drying it.......

if that doesn't work try a few or these products :

This will sound SO gross, but it totally works. I used to have damaged/dry hair. Then, someone told me to wet my hair, then rub avacado in it. I know, GROSS! I was like, no way, but i was desperate, so i did it. In about 1 week after applying it every night/day, my hair turned soft and silky! BEst thing i ever did for my hair.

Shave your head and let your hair grow again. You will have to only go underground for a month or so, or cover your head with a balaclava for that period.
