There are various job opportunities in biology as it is an ever expanding field within the biotechnology sector, some career options may include but are not limited to:
# Scientific Laboratory Technician - Production and processing of new biomaterials including vaccines, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and diagnostic agents
# Pharmaceutical Representative/ Medical Representative -Represents pharmaceutical companies to pharmacists and doctors with promoting various pharmaceutical products.
# Secondary School Teacher - With skills ascertained from a biology degree, graduates have the option of developing the knowledge of secondary students, usually this requires some form of education associate degree/diploma in education, but is a viable option for any graduate.
# Research Scientist in Biology - It is also common for many students to also go on to further study via honours or honours and PHD aiming for a career in research. In terms of job potential, PHD graduates do find many potential opportunities at various biotechnology companies, pharmaceutical companies as well as in academic institutions.

nothing-will just a B.S. Now a days if you want to do anything in the field of sciency you will need at least a master's degree-but you have to get your bachelor's first. There are many areas of biology, ecology, microbiology, molecular biology ect. that you could pursue work in after grad school.

With my BS in biology, I... became a computer game programmer.
Really, he's going to need further education to do something. Right now, he's qualified to be a lab tech. He'd need more schooling to do any of these things:
Pharmacy technician
Science teacher (high school biology teacher?)
Medical lab worker

Physicians assistant, Nurse, Teacher (very marketable as a science), Lawyer, Business
I have this degree....he should go to PA school.
Without grad school its very still marketable....its a difficult major.
