You have received a lot of good ideas, from pet owners with different experiences. We had problems with Cocci, which was just as you described..It is most commonly carried in bird droppings..
If the vet didn't tell you that he checked for cocci, it would be worth asking him if he did..They just look at poop under a microscope.
However, to get a little guy to eat, I always boil chicken livers in quite a bit of water, to make an irresistible broth. Once they are drinking the broth, they will often eat a piece of liver..only allow a little liver, though, as it is too strong for them to eat much..one or one and a half livers per day would be plenty..Also, there is stuff in a tube, called Nutrical..you will find it at any pet supply or at Walmart's pet section (not the human diet stuff of similar name)
You put an inch of the stuff on your finger, and put it in the pup's mouth, It is sticky like peanut butter, so they have to swallow it, and it is packed with the nutrition they need..
If your vet didn't test for cocci, go to another vet, as that one is incompetent.

Take him to a vet!!!
Hopefully he has just eaten something nasty, my jack russel loves eating anything disgusting!
Slugs snails dead birds, they are little fcukers.
Its best to get him checked out by a vet to make sure its not something serious.
I do hope he gets better
GOOD LUCK

worse case senario- could be parvo disease. Vets now and hang the cost, I'm afraid. Don't take any notice of the raw egg quack nonsense, get to the vet, you could save his life

Try her on gluten free food. If this doesn't work as the vet to test for hypothyroidism (that's what was wrong with ours). Expensive but worth it, she's a different dog now.
