Although sometimes a bit odd, I always thought right wing hard-core christians were just goofy and harmless. But Rosie seems to be an expert on this topic. Is she right? If so, should our elected officials do something about it - maybe add them to the no-fly list or something?

Since when did Rosie O'Donnell get anything right (no pun intended)?

It was the right wing Christians that are responsible for the attack on the World Trade center and the Pentagon.

Here are the facts: Rosie O'Donnell is an out spoken Gay activist that believes here life style is justified. She believes in same sex preference, same sex relationships and same sex marriage. Three life styles that are forbbiden in the bible. A book that Rosie obviously failed to read.

Same sex preference is not forbidden by the Bible.

Same sex relationship is forbidden as one of the 613 commandments that Jews observed today. Paul also writes of this.

Same sex marriage is not even discussed since the relationship is already forbidden.

This is the biblical position, what about the US Constitution? We currently have one state performing same sex marriages and 49 forbidding them. This will not be tolerated long as cases are case to moving the court system. We will see what our laws allow. Elected officials are at this time are powerless. The law is already there.

One final comment by a priest who performs marriages. No matter what state I am in, I have both a civil document, marriage license, and as religious document. The witnesses sign both. This means that marriage in the United States can be civil or civil and religious. It can never be religious alone. The right to perform marriages is given to me by the state and the church. The marriage that Rosie has had is minimally a civil marriage. She may have had a minister/priest/rabbi as well.

Oddly enough, the same sex marriage wants both and it is the right wing Christians (there is a 80%/20% split between Christians and Catholics) that will need to move a little (or a lot) to the left.

One last comment: I live in a state the prohibit same sex marriage; however, would I perform one even if it was only civil, I am not sure.

My apologies in advance for being uncharitable toward the woman -- but Rosie O'Donnell is a crackpot.

Rosie doesn't really believe that "right wing Christians" are more dangerous than Islamist terrrorists. How could she say that with a straight face, given that no "right wing Christian" ever does things like hijack airplanes and crash them into skyscrapers?

Rosie is, among other things, an out-of-the-closet flaunt-it-in-your-face lesbian.

Christianity teaches things that don't jive with Rosie's lifestyle.

Thus, Rosie feels the need to drag Christianity down, so as to prop her lifestyle up and justify it and rationalize it.

Rosie portrays herself as an "expert" on a lot of things -- religion, guns, you name it.

But at the end of the day, she's just a loud woman with a microphone. She's only been given her forum because her political views are popular in Hollywood.

If I were you, I'd just ignore her -- most of the rest of the country does.

Rosie says lot's of things and (proof that there are random events in this universe) even sort of makes sense sometimes. Extremists & fundamentalists of ANY faith are equally dangerous. They all have a few main things in common, they want to FORCE (not convince) you to believe & live their way, cannot tolerate dissent or differences of opinion & are utterly covinced that they and only they are righteous & everyone else is not only wrong but evil. This has nothing to do with whether you are Christian or Muslim or Hindu, it has everything to do with a medieval and megalomaniac view of the world that somehow a large portion of humanity just can't or won't outgrow. They are all dangerous & trying assign a relative value system that one is more dangerous than the other is just plain dumb. Hence Rosie!.

It seems that being an opinionated person, especially when you are a woman AND fat, leaves many people incensed!! Why is that?
Actually, I don't think most right-winged Christians fly anywhere - if they did they might become more knowledgeable and understanding - so the government would just have to keep tabs on their personal arsenal.
You don't have to have a degree in Theology to see that those who yell the loudest about their God are the ones killing something ( be it people, ideas or progress) for their beliefs.

Rosie O'Donnell isn't an expert on any topic. Of course she doesn't like Christianity because she is gay. All she does is cause trouble and controversy every time she opens her mouth. Why do people listen to her?

First of all Rosie is not an expert she is a PAID comedian. She says things to get people talking and to watch the show. I think our country should keep an eye on anyone that shows a possibility of doing harm to our country. Whether its a christian or an Islamist it shouldn't matter.

Go and read Perry Deane Young's book, "God's Bullies". In the 1970s, he was a speech writer for rightwingers (including the Nixon era) until he got sick of living in the closet.

After coming out, he wrote his book which is a scathing expose on the intention and tactics of the christianazis in the US. I've read it three times over the years and it _still_ rings true today.

When has Rosie ever been an expert? She's not the type to be taken seriously.

Yes we are very dangerous to an immoral lifestyle and will speak out whenever we have the opportunity..Rosie should run for vice president along with Hillary and they could be a matched pair. Then they could show their true colors and have us thrown to the lions or something equal.
