example 1 human yr eqauls 7 dog yrs, is there a same ratio with birds?

Depends on the type of bird. Budgies, if kept healthy, live to 15, some more. Cockateils can live up to 30 years. Some parrots can live up to 80 years.

However, a ratio cna't really be applied becuase humans have a very long childhood compared to most animals and birds grow on such a different time scale to humans. A budgie is sexually mature at about one year. An african grey parrot might not try to find a mate until it's... 5 years old I think. Or something like that.

Unless you have a specific bird in mind you really can't say. Even then it'd be hard.

It depends because some birds live up to 8-10, 15-17, 19-21, and 50-60 so tell me what kind of bird you have.

it all depends on the bird some parrots live up to 70 years some humming birds are so small the size of a thumb nail live just over a year birds have different life spans it would be like asking how long is a piece of string

Hi there, since different species of birds have different life spans and maturity rates, one answer couldn't fit. Some birds live for10 years and some live to 80. Some birds sexually mature in 8 months and others 2 years. Have a tweet year.

Bird years are the same as ours. 1 year for 1 year.

ahahaha ive never known a bird from birth to death, had one once but he flew away never to return - good old Bob! uum... i dont think they live as long as dogs so yeh prob 1 human year to 20 bird years. They learn to fly quicker than babies leard to walk. thats my thinking...
